Intro to Plein Air Painting (Painting Outside) Classes
Two, 2-hour sessions.
$25, payable to instructor.
Wednesday, May 16th,
Wednesday, May 23rd,
9:00a.m. to 11:00a.m.
Class size limited to 5 students.
Reserve your space at the Heritage Village Activities Desk.
Group will meet at Brush and Pencil, then take short walk
to nearby painting location.
Rain cancels — class will be rescheduled.
Come to Learn:
- how to get outside and paint a simple scene,
- and enjoy being part of nature,
- simple design tricks
- how to make a thumbnail drawing and simple value study
- how to mix color using three primaries and white.
No easel necessary, but if you have an easel, bring it.
Must be able to carry supplies over uneven terrain.
Wear old clothes and bring a folding chair.
