Plein Air Vermont

Frank Constantino of the Plein Air Vermont team shared photos from the event today and his general goings on.  Frank is one busy, organized dude, so it surprised me he lost his camera and just found it.  Now I don't feel like such a slacker.  You should know that Frank does beautiful watercolor plein air paintings in addition to his architectural renderings.  He has a show at the Thomas Moser Gallery in Boston and has an article coming out in February in "Plein Air Magazine".  We painted together in St. Simons GA, and again this September at the Paint Vermont quick draw event.  If you have an inclination to paint plein air,  and by chance have an illustration background or an MFA, you should consider applying for the week-long event for next year in September.  If you are a watercolorist, you'll be in nirvana--Charles Reid is the overall juror.  The quickdraw, open to anyone on Saturday, will be juried by Stapleton Kearns.  Folks are friendly, and the town of North Bennington is beautiful--lots of subject material.  This is a super organized event.  You can email for info:  info@pleinair-vermont.com
