Fenn's Fog: 30 in 30

Fenn's Fog, 8 x 10, OIl on Linen Board, $275, Framed 
Though the weather is gray and depressing, and the beautiful snow is melting fast, fog presents all kinds of challenges to paint.  Today I went back to Fenn's Farm Pond, and completely changed the foreground and background to capture the fog and the grasses, logs, low spots appearing from under the snow, and the very dark wet trees in the foreground.  It's a completely different scene!

This painting is on display at the Washington Art Association's Member Show until February 23rd, for $275.  You can purchase it and I will pay the WAA commission.  2nd Place Award.
