Bill and Sara Schaberg hosted CPAPS (Ct. Society of Plein Air Painters) for a paintout in their beautiful marsh side gardens on Saturday. Four painters were treated to great views of the marsh, a host of blossoms second to no garden center, and icy cold water bottles. A trip back will be on the calendar. Thank you Bill and Sara!
Painting marshes is a challenge, but I really met my Waterloo when I decided to paint a Flame Bush, waving in the wind. Ridiculous. So many beautiful colors on one plant.
